Custom Beams plugin for Vectorworks enables the creation of three types of parametric beams:
- pre-configured wooden beams with various profiles
- custom-profile wooden beams
- extruded beams based on a user-drawn section
A control point allows you to graphically select the position where the beam will tilt, and adjust its elevation. You can easily create beam groups with a single click, and choose from five different covering options: simple panel, secondary beams, single or multiple sliding covers, or custom profile.
The Custom Beams plugin pairs perfectly with the Elements and Foliage Volume plugins, offering a complete solution for creating elegant pergolas.
